About Perini Atelier
Perini Atelier is built on over 20 years of experience in garment construction, tailoring, and design.
Behind it is Rosi Perini - a woman, a mother, and a lifelong seamstress whose story is stitched across continents. Of Italian descent from Trentino-Alto Adige, born and raised in Brazil, and now based in Florida, her work carries the quiet legacy of generations who created beauty with nothing but their hands.
Long before machines and mass production, her ancestors practiced fatto a mano… feito à mão… handmade in its truest form. That philosophy still lives in every piece created today.
Rosi’s journey began at just 13 years old, designing custom purses with patchwork, trims, beads, and pearls. What started as creativity quickly became entrepreneurship. Years later, with a degree in Business Administration and a growing vision, she opened her own atelier in Brazil in 1990 — Relicário Atelier — where she began designing custom garments, from shirts to evening wear, wedding pieces, and beyond.
Since then, her craft has evolved across decades and disciplines… from casual wear to couture, from last-minute alterations to fully bespoke designs, from garments to interior details like drapes and covers. In 2003, she expanded into ballroom dancewear, collaborating with an American dancewear company and continuing to refine her artistry with every new creation.
What began as a craft has become a lifelong dedication to precision, detail, and creating pieces that truly fit… not just in size, but in feeling.
Every garment is approached with patience and care, whether it’s a simple alteration or a fully custom piece. Guided by a philosophy to renew, recycle, and repurpose, each design is an opportunity to give new life to what already exists.
Because true craftsmanship doesn’t rush. It transforms.
As Antoine Lavoisier once said:
“Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.”
That belief lives at the heart of Perini Atelier… where fabric becomes form, and every stitch carries intention.
The goal is always the same: to create something that feels effortless to wear… and made to last.
Sewing isn’t just a skill.
It’s a craft shaped by time, practice, intention… and a deep respect for the garments we choose to keep.
